Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
There is capacity under The Alliance for the development of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that involve members and other invited stakeholders, including consumers. These groups will seek to improve efficiencies and create strategic alignment within the region, and may include existing and/or new networks. Information regarding SIGs will be promoted by the Regional Development Coordinator (RDC) and advertised on The Alliance website with requests for involvement forwarded to the relevant Chair for consideration.
Presently, The Alliance is developing a framework for engaging with groups and a draft will be presented to members soon.
Currently, we have interest in the development and alignment of the following North Metro groups/networks:
- North Metro Access and Support Network
- North Metro Social Support Network
- Elder Abuse Awareness and Prevention Network
- Healthy and Active Ageing Network
If your organisation would be interested in joining any of the above networks, or looking to bring your own network under The Alliance, please contact Christina Micallef, North Metro RDC on 0477 398 294.
