Communities of Practices (formerly Special Interest Groups)

An important aspect of Alliance activities is to provide a platform for sector communication, engagement and collaboration throughout the North Metro region.  Alliance sponsored Communities of Practice (CoP) support member organisations and key stakeholders to work together to continually promote good practice and support quality outcomes for consumers and their carers.  These groups seek to improve efficiencies and create strategic alignment within the region, and may include existing and/or new networks.  Each CoP is supported by an established Framework. Current groups include:

  • Elder Abuse Prevention Network
  • My Aged Care Users Group
  • North Metro Access and Support Network
  • Northern Social Support Network
  • Homelessness Networking Group

Click for details for more information or to join any of the above networks. Requests for involvement should be forwarded to the relevant contact at stated.

If your group is looking to bring your own network under The Alliance, please contact Christina Micallef, North Metro RDC on 0477 398 294
